Real. Craft. Food.

When it comes to food, and most other things in our lives we are purists here at Guerrilla Craft Eats.  We strongly believe in using the freshest, cleanest, most unadulterated whole foods available to us.  The highest quality whole foods are an essential foundation upon which great menus are built and consequently eliminate the need for artificial flavors, preservatives and other food related obscenities.

Cooking is a true passion for us.  Transforming a plethora of fresh ingredients into a delicious dish will never loose its luster.  Ryan has been cooking for over a decade in a handful of high end restaurants and bistros on the west coast and in Hawaii.  His real world experience is preceded by a two-year hands on culinary program and accompanying degree from the Art Institute of Seattle.  “Food is my craft.  I am very fortunate to have had the opportunity to hone my skills under a number of great chefs and dedicated culinarians that have inspired me to become the craftsman I am today.” — Ryan Oeschger

“Eating with the fullest pleasure – pleasure, that is, that does not depend on ignorance – is perhaps the profoundest enactment of our connection with the world. In this pleasure we experience our dependence and our gratitude, for we are living in a mystery, from creatures we did not make and powers we cannot comprehend.” — Wendell Berry

Food has the ability to set us apart as well as bring us together as a society.  We at Guerrilla Craft Eats intend to provide for our community the most delicious, highest quality whole foods possible and aid in the development of a slow food culture in Elko, Nevada and the surrounding areas.  Please feel free to read our post, Striving for Nothing but the Best, for more information on how we source our ingredients.
